🚀 What You’ll Do:
- Experience with a hands-on finance management role
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Portuguese accounting & tax reporting framework and relevant provisions of the legal order
- Responsible for month-end closing and prepare monthly reports including monthly consolidated financial statements, cash flow statements and management reporting
- Analyze financial information to provide accurate and timely financial reports to management for decision-making purposes
- Assist in development and implementation of best practice financial processes and procedures
- Payables & Receivables and Payroll
- Support implementation of financial systems, and reports and uphold business projects
- Work collaboratively with various internal parties in the region to acquire or provide information needed for analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

- Proven track record of playing a significant role in successfully building a business or division from scratch in a tech startup
- Highly proficient in managing teams and handling all financial information with advanced strategic financial and planning skills
- A commercial mindset with a sharp eye for revenue opportunities in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving digital context
- Confident in modeling complex financial plans linked to company strategy
- Excellent leadership, influencing, and communication skills to relay all relevant financial information both up and down the organization
- Excellent attention to detail and a personal reputation for a positive ‘can do’ approach, delivering results on time and within budget
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including networking, facilitation, provision of training to non-financial managers and support and guidance to a wide range of stakeholders
- Highly developed analytical skills and ability to assess the viability of financial business plans and proposals
